NANOLyon: NANOtechnology developments for photonics, electronics and healthcare through the technolgy platform of LYON
NANOLYON technology centre currently develop technological researchconducted in INL, supporting projects based in Lyon and the Rhône-AlpesRegion.
Since 2004, the Technology centre has been approved by the FrenchResearch Ministery as a "proximity technology platform". The presently500 sq. meters technological facilities have been built fornanotechnology developments for photonics, electronics and healthcare. All necessary expertise, process steps and tools are available forrapid test of new concepts and first feasability demonstrations thatcould further yield to more complete projects with "upper level" oftechnology platform network or industrial partners.
INL
The Nanolyon platform is a multi-located technology centre bringing together the processing and characterization tools from ECL,INSA and UCB sites of INL. This nanofabrication facility provides a full range of processing capabilities for part or full substrates as large as 4'' in diameter and some processing of 6'' diameter substrates.
The platform is mainly open for use by INL staff, but also by both external academic and industrial R&D community.
The platform is placed under Dr. J.L. Leclercq (CNRS researcher) responsibility with the help of Dr. R. Mazurczyk (ECL site) and P.Pittet (UCB site).
